Scribbled Christmas - Colour Cloud

Hello Crafters!

It's been a while since we've added a card to our blog, so here we are!

We have made this card at our workshops recently and our lovely crafters have really enjoyed it.

This card is a sample using the 'Scribbled Christmas Collection' and Phill Martin Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud.  The colour on this card is Frosted Sky, but it looks just as gorgeous in any of Phill's colour range. (I've attached a version in the Frosted Jade colour)

On this card I have used the A5 Scribbled Christmas Verse stamps for the main sentiment and added the snowflake flourish from the same set to help co-ordinate the look.   The A6 Snowflake background stamp has been used to stamp around the circle frame. The delicate embossed snowflake on the circle frame are from the A6 Snowflake Icons stamp set.

The circle frame has been created using 2 dies from Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Circle Set A. The bit that comes out of the middle has been used for the sentiment.

We have used the colour cloud with Smoothies (of course) on the snowflake dies, circle frame and one background layer.

Butterfly Elegance - Very Happy Birthday

Hello Crafters,

I am thrilled to be adding my first card sample to Phill's blog!

We are currently making this card at our workshops in the Sheffield store, and I have also attached an alternative version for you!

This card is a sample using the beautiful 'Butterfly Elegance' stamp collection and the gorgeous 'Frosted Essentials' paper pads.  I have chosen the Frosted Aqua colour theme as it coordinates with the decor in the Sheffield shop! 

On this card I have used  the A5 Sentiments Stamp set to create the main sentiment, but the lovely flourish is also part of this set, making coordinating the card easy.  (I did mask off the butterfly from the flourish to keep the sentiment clear) To add more interest, the smaller butterflies are from the Butterfly Icons A6 Stamp set which I think finishes the die cut centre perfectly!

Sentimentally Yours Frosted Essentials FULL paper pad (x2 sheets  - x1 for embossed layer, x1 for layer behind die cut frame and flower die cuts)

We have a very busy couple of weeks ahead with the Craftathon next Sunday 21st August with John Lockwood, and then we're off to the Great Create Extravaganza in Harrogate on 26th/27th August.... phew!!!

You will enjoy using these stamps in your own crafting for many years,.. butterflies never go out of style in crafting!

Here is another one of my Butterfly Elegance Samples, this time with the beautiful Wisteria Foundations cardstock... (another lovely colour!

This will be one of my demo's through the day too :-)

On this card, you'll see that I have only used 1 set of stamps, for the sentiment in the centre, but the lovely little flourish is also part of the sentiments collection too and I love the little finishing touches around the die cut centres,.. brings the whole look together :-)
