Create & Craft Shows

Hi Everyone...

Just a quick note to let you know I have had some shows for Create & Craft confirmed for next week...

There's quite a few so I guess I'm going to be a busy boy over the festive season!

Here are the details:

Tuesday 27th at 9am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 5pm!

Wednesday 28th at 1pm, 2pm and 4pm

Thursday 29th at 11am, 2pm, 3pm and 5pm

Monday 2nd January at 9am, 11am and 12noon

These shows are a mixture of Hunkydory shows, Special Sale shows (some superb bargains to be had!!), Paper Clinic and a new printer show...

It looks like my Craft Ambassador role will be put to good use over the next week! Wish me luck!

Anyway, I hope you can watch and can find time to send me an email or two!

I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful crafty Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!!

Create and Craft Shows

Morning Everyone

Just letting you know that I am back on Create and Craft next week :o)

All the shows are Brother shows, including some printers and labelling equipment... The particular printer I will be showing you is one that I love, especially for printing onto different textured cardstock...which is something I do alot of!

Anyhoo, the shows times are :-

Monday 12th December at 8am and 1pm and 3pm and 6pm (busy day!)

Tuesday 13th December at 10am and 7pm

Wednesday 14th December at 6pm

These are special 4 day deal shows and some of the products I will be showing are brand new, not been seen before, including the new A4  Printer (which would make a brill Christmas prezzy and addition to your crafting tools!)

Hope you can watch and remember too email in... I will find something to give away!

Morning Everyone

It's another cold start to the day here in Nottingham, the heating is on, I've mashed a cuppa and made this lil Christmas Text Background Paper for you.... 

It seems to be that designing papers is another addiction I can add to my list! :o)

As I'm off to Germany tomorrow to the Christmas markets for the weekend (in the hopes I can get a few of the  gifts on my list ticked off!) I thought I'd give you all a lil gift too...

I've literally just finished this one... I hope you like it :o)

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well, the weather we are having lately is definitely crafting weather and that's exactly what I've been doing.... when I get home from work of course, there's no time to 'play' at the shop this time of year!

This lil card is a variation of the ever popular stepper card, I love stepper cards because of their technical appearance and the versatility they give us... so much so that I made this style in three different colour ways lol

The image is a digi I bought somewhere when I was browsing the tinternet, sorry, I cannot remember where as I must have looked at a thousand sites lol

As you'd expect from me, there is lots of distressing going on, as well as a combination of Flexmarkers and Promarkers... some punched and die cut snowflakes, buttons, twines and the obligatory glamour dust!

 Hope you like them as much I liked making them :o)

Create and Craft Shows....

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Just a quick post to let you know I will be back on Create & Craft this weekend... so I won't be working at the   NEC, however, I will be at the NEC for a nosey on Saturday so if you see me, be sure to say hello :o)

My Shows are all on Create and Craft and this is the line up..

Friday (yep, tomorrow!)

8am, 10am and 4pm

Sunday

9am, 10am and 2pm

Hope you can watch, at least I'll be there to entertain those of you that are not at the NEC (or those that have been and spent up lol!)

So what do I do when I get half an hour of peace....

... I make a card! lol

Hi Everyone...

Now that's stranger than you think.... especially when I am at work in the shop (time is usually spent mashing, chatting, teaching, advising my lovely customers and oh yes, more mashing cuppas!) so to get half an hour of peace at the shop these days is so rare that you'd think I would put my feet up with, yep, another cuppa, but nope, not me... I play :o)

So here's a few photos of my lil half an hour (36 minutes of peace to be precise!) playtime card with one of my fave Gorjuss stamps...

Hopefully, you will notice the lovely Backing Paper too as it's one of my own ;o) 

More on that soon ;o)

Lil Freebie for you...

Hi Everyone

As you have probably heard me say a hundred, nay, a thousand times over the last few days lol, I am going on my holidays in a few days for a wee while so I thought I'd let you have a lil freebie background paper that I designed myself...

It's a lovely vintage coloured snowflake paper.... there'll be more soon, but I was thinking..... I could let you all have a freebie and a play whilst I am away, then you could show me what you did with it in your craft projects when I get back... sound like a plan?

I love background papers (as most of you know) and I like to create my own when I can't find the 'right' one, so here it is.... Have fun and enjoy using it...I hope I do this post right so you can click on the image, then right click on the image again once it opens in full size...(fingers crossed!)

Create & Craft Shows....

Hi  Everyone

Hope you are all well and busy crafting... I know I have been!

How are you getting on with your Christmas projects for this year? Me, well, I'm always last minute! lol

I make so many Christmas cards at my classes that I should just use those for myself, but I never do... I always like to create something new for close family and friends and this year will be no exception ;o)

Anyhoo... I have some more dates booked for Create & Craft shows and here they are... 

guess who is going to be a busy boy next week!

Monday 19th September at 1pm and 3pm on Create & Craft and then 

5-7pm on Ideal World for Craft o Clock

Thursday 22nd September at 9am and 12noon on Create & Craft

Friday 23rd September at 9am and 1pm on Create & Craft

You'll be sick of seeing me next week! lol

Forgot I had these.......

Hi Everyone....

Yesterday I found these fab Arc shaped cards at the shop, that I must have bought last year sometime! 

And I thought I'd take some home and have a play...

Thought I'd show you what I came up with....

Here is the finished card, a priddy lil Tilda card in pinks and greens.... hope you like it :o)

I've used my Longing Tilda stamp, pro-markers, Tim Holtz Core'dinations cardstock, Divine Swirls embossing folder, lil flower and leaf punches, a  Stampin up! border punch, some raffia twine and some other lil bits...
