Ultimate Baroque Collection - Have A Wonderful Birthday
Good Morning Everyone.
Another day closer to Christmas, so for those of you who have completed their cards I thought we would have a change and do a Birthday Card.
Today's card I created in Black & Cream. All the products I used can be found on Phill's Website -
www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk
This is what I used:-
Black Card Stock
Cream Card Stock
Sentimentally Yours Baroque Border Sentiment A5 Stamp Set
Sue Wilson Noble Dies - Ornate Pierced Rectangles
Sue Wilson Dies Laurel Leaves
Sue Wilson Dies Peony
Creative Expression Pearl Strips
Black Soot Distress Ink
Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue
Using Black Card Stock I cut the shape of the card using the largest of the Pierced Rectangle Dies.
Then using the next 2 sizes down and Cream Card Stock I cut these out and attached to the main card (flat) using Cosmic Shimmer Glue.
Sentiment
Using Cream Card Stock and the smallest plain die I cut this out.
I then stamped across the centre using the Baroque Strip from the Border Sentiment Stamps and Black Soot Distress Ink.
Next I chose 'Have A Wonderful Birthday' from the Baroque Border Sentiments and stamped this again using Black Soot Distress Ink.
I attached to the card using pads to give dimension, then decorated the edges with Twinkles
Finishing Touches
I cut several flowers using The Complete Peony Dies and alternating with Black & Cream Card.
I then cut the Laurel Leaves using Cream Card, then while these were still in the die I used Black Soot Distress Ink to colour the leaves.
I then shaped these and attached to the card.
Finally I added Pearls around the edges of the Black Card and also the Cream layer, not forgetting the centre of each flower.

Ultimate Baroque Collection - Wedding Card in Teal & White
Hello Everyone,
Phill is very busy with the HOCHANDA Shows today, I hope you are enjoying his demo's and learning some new techniques.
Today's card is one I did for the show, its another large card as I absolutely love creating these, but I promise the cards for the next few days will be smaller ones, as lots of you have requested these.
For anyone wanting to replicate this card these are the products I used .... which are all available on Phills Website - www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk
A4 Card Blank
White Card Stock
Teal Mister spray by Phill Martin
Colour Cloud Blending Ink by Phill Martin
Sentimentally Yours Baroque Sentiment 2 A5 stamp set
Sentimentally Yours Baroque Frames A6 stamp set
Sentimentally Yours Baroque Corners A6 stamp set
Sue Wilson Lattice Hearts Embossing Folder
Sue Wilson Dies Perfect Peony Complete Petals
Sue Wilson Dies Laurel Leaves
Sue Wilson Dies Noble Ornate Pierced Rectangles
Cosmic Shimmer Silver Shine Embossing Powder
Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels Iced Snow
Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue
Creative Expressions Pearl Strips
I used a White A4 card and cut the first layer using plain white card stock to 11.75 x 8 then sprayed this with Teal Mister Spray. Once this was dry I attached flat to the card.
The second layer I cut to 11x 7.25
Then using the New Baroque Corner Stamps I embossed each corner using Silver Shine Embossing Powder.
I then embossed this using the Lattice Heart Embossing Folder, and attached flat to the card.
Next using plain white card stock I cut 2 panels, the first on 4.75 x 11 and the second 4.5 x 10.75.
I then used Mister Spray on the first panel.
Using the long stamp from the sentiment set I heat embossed the second layer at the top and bottom, then embossed with the Lattice Hearts. This was then attached to the card using pads to give dimension.
Sentiment
Using the second and third largest Noble Pierced Rectangle Dies I cut these out using plain white card stock and sprayed the plain one with Mister Spray.
I then heat embossed the Sentiment and glued them both together before attaching to the card, again using pads.
Finishing Touches
Using a sheet of plain white card stock I sprayed it with Mister Spray, and once dried ( a couple of minutes) I cut several of the flowers out using the Perfect Peony Die.
I shaped these and glued them together, then used cosmic shimmer glue and Glitter Jewels Iced Snow to the edges of the petals.
I then cut out the Laurel leaves and while these were still in the die I used Teal Colour Cloud to highlight, then again added Iced Snow.
I then added all the flowers and leaves to the card.
Finally using Pearl Strips I edged around the Sentiment with a double row.
I really enjoyed making this card, and hope you will too.

Good Evening Everyone
So, I was thinking the other day,.. wouldn't it be nice to see what all you lovely crafters make with my products... and wouldn't it be even nicer if you showed me!

There was the idea,.. It's a bit of fun, my way of saying thank you and to see all your lovely work too,.. but the giveaway is almost £90 worth of my stamps!!
Now, the rules (loose sense of the word)

There was the idea,.. It's a bit of fun, my way of saying thank you and to see all your lovely work too,.. but the giveaway is almost £90 worth of my stamps!!
Now, the rules (loose sense of the word)
- None of my family or sample makers can enter (that really wouldn't be fair!) ha ha
- You must have made your project with my products as part of the whole design (not just stuck a sentiment on at the last minute)
- You can, obviously, have used any Creative Expressions products (it doesn't have to be 'just' my range)
- You must be a follower of my Blog (if you're not, just click the 'Join this site' button that's on the right hand side of this page, it's free and all you need is your email address)
- You cannot send me photos of someone else's work (I will check)
- You must leave a comment on this post to say you have emailed me a photo of your project.
- You can only enter once (one project)
- No rules as to what techniques, style etc you use
Please send your photos to phill@honeypotcrafts.co.uk
I think that's it...
I will choose the winner on Wednesday 25th November at 9am, so please make sure I have your photo before then (any I receive after 9am on that day won't be included)
I know I'll see some amazing projects from you all!
Last thing..... Good Luck!

Frosty Mink - Christmas Greetings
Good afternoon everyone,
I hope for those of you who have been fortunate enough to watch Phill's live shows on HOCHANDA today have enjoyed them so far.
The next show is 4.00pm and the last show for today is 7.00pm
Today's card is one from the show, which Phill did a variation of for one of his demo's.
For those of you who wish to replicate this, listed below are all the products used which can all be found on Phill's Website www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk
8 x 8 Card Blank
White Card Stock
Frosty Mink P.V.A.
Frosty Mink Twinkles
Frosty Mink Gilding Wax
Frosty Mink Sparkle Texture Paste
Christmas Holly Sentiment Border Stamps
Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper Embossing Powder
Dazzlers
Cosmic Shimmer Glacier Ice
Tracery 6 x 6 Mask
Sue Wilson Dies - Classic Poinsettia
Sue Wilson Dies - Mosaic Poinsettia
Sue Wilson Dies Portuguese Collection - Lisbon
Sue Wilson Snowflake Lattice Embossing Folder
This is how I created it:-
Because of the drying time I started by using the Tracery Mask and Frosty Mink Texture Paste, as this needed about 2 hours to dry.
8 x 8 Card Blank
The first layer I cut to 7.75 square and edged it with Frosty Mink Gilding Wax and attached flat to the card.
The next layer I cut to 7.5 square and embossed it with the Snowflake Lattice Embossing Folder, and attached flat to the card.
Sentiment
Making sure the texture paste was completely dry I then cut this out using the Lisbon Die and attached to the card using foam pads.
Next I cut a strip of white card to 1.5" wide and stamped the Sentiment using one of the Border Stamps and heat embossed it with Ancient Copper Embossing Powder before embossing it with the Snowflake Lattice Embossing Folder to match the background. Than added this to the card.
Finishing Touches
Next I cut the Poinsettias out and shaped these before attaching to the card. I then edged the petals with Cosmic Shimmer Glue and Glacier Ice, and finished with a Dazzler to the centres.
Frosty Mink Twinkles were then used around the small die in the centre .
Finally I used Frosty Mink P.V.A. in the centres of each snowflake.

A Special Birthday Wish in Chic Aubergine (and a Giveaway Card)
Good Afternoon Everyone
Fog,.. perfect excuse to stay in my craft room all day! :-)
So, I'm taking the time to add a few more posts to the Blog, featuring some of the cards from my last shows on Hochanda and this is one of my favourites!
I absolutely love Chic Aubergine,.. it's a beautiful, rich, elegant colour that works so well on both white and cream cardstock...
You can be in with a chance of winning the card I made on air in Chic Magenta, over on my Facebook Page,.. you have until Friday :-)
Now, I did notice a few of you leave comments on my Blog that you're not on Facebook, so I will do a little giveaway card on here for you too :-) (details at the bottom of this post)
So,..
Here's what I used:
Foundations Milk Cardstock
Chic Aubergine Ink Mister, Twinkles and Pearl PVA Glue
Dies by Sue Wilson, Portuguese Collection, Lisbon and Corner, Border, Tag Set
Dies by Sue Wilson Camellia Complete Petals
Dies by Sue Wilson Curled Vines
Cosmic Shimmer Glacier Ice (shocked you that didn't it ha ha)
Sentimentally Yours Scribbled Sentiments Stamps
Creative Expressions Crystal Corner Embellishments
Creative Expressions Wild Roses A4 Embossing Folder
Here's what I did:
I cut all my layers from the Milk Cardstock, these were, 23.5 x 17.5cm, 23 x 17cm, 22.5 x 16.5cm and a 2.5 x 18cm strip for the sentiment.
I then did all the die cutting, which was the base layer, base and largest lacy layer of the Lisbon dies, the tag from the Corner, Border & Tag set, 7 Camellia flowers and two Curled Vines.
The base layer of the card was ink misted with the Chic Aubergine Ink Mister, as were the Camellia flowers and the base layer of the Lisbon dies. These were then set to one side to dry properly (only takes about 5 minutes, depends how heavy handed you are with the ink mister)
The smallest of the card layers was then embossed with the beautiful Wild Roses embossing folder (love this one, so pretty!)
Now the ink misted pieces were dry, I stuck the lacy part of the Lisbon die to the ink misted base with CS Glue, then went around the edges with my Chic Aubergine Twinkles and dunked it in my Glacier Ice Glitter Jewels. I then did the same to the tag die cut and stuck that on with foam tape, finishing by adding two drops of the Chic Aubergine Pearl PVA Glue to create two faux pearls in the perfect colour!
I then added a big blob of Chic Aubergine Twinkles to the centre of the Camellia flowers and also dunked these into the Glacier Ice (note that I haven't shaped the petals of these flowers, just bent them up,.. this gives more dimension, particularly when you stick them to your card with CS Glue as it dries quicker)
I then stamped my Scribbled Sentiment and, as always, I used my Black Soot distress ink pad, I then shaped the end to create the tag effect, then applied Chic Aubergine Twinkles all the way around and dunked it into my Glacier Ice (so love this effect!)
Once everything was dry, I stuck all the base layers together with CS Glue, then added the Lisbon topper with foam tape, the sentiment was shaped, to create a curve, this was stuck with CS Glue, but just on the two points that make contact with the card, I finished off by adding the flowers and leaves as shown, then added the lovely Crystal Corners to 'frame' the whole card.. simple!

As always, everything I have used is available on my website at www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk, but I do know the Scribbled Sentiments Stamps and Crystal Corners (and indeed the pearl ones) are very low in stock..
