Another dull day is forecast for Nottingham :-) so that means another crafting day for me lol
Thank you all once again for your lovely comments on yesterday's blog card.
With Phill having so many lovely products its difficult to know which to use first, but I love the Graceful Lilac so have decided to use that on today's blog card, I hope you like it too.
Listed below are the products I used, all of which can be found on the Website:-
www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk
Products used :-
8 x 8 Cream Card Blank
Bracket Collection Birthday Verse Stamps A5
Graceful Butterflies & Dragonflies Paper Pad
Graceful Lilac Mister Spray
Graceful Lilac Embossing Powder
Spellbinder Die - Labels 47
Sue Wilson Die - Peony
Sue Wilson Noble Die - Ornate Pierced Rectangles
Hat pins
Creative Expressions Glitter Jewels - Glacier Ice
Creative Expressions Dazzlers
Seam Binding
This is how I created the card
8 x 8 Cream Card Blank
Using Cream Card Stock I cut a 7.75 sq and sprayed it with Graceful Lilac Mister Spray and attached flat to the card.
The with a sheet of Lilac paper from the Paper Pad I cut this to 7.5 sq and attached flat to the card.
Using the Pierced Rectangle Die I cut this out in Cream Card Stock and attached to the card using pads to give dimension.
Then again in cream I cut out the Labels 47 die and backed this with Lilac paper from the pad and attached to the card again using pads.
I then cut a square of cream card to fit the centre and used the Bracket Collection Birthday Verse Stamp (but masked the brackets off) and embossed this using Graceful Lilac Embossing Powder, and attached to the card using pads.
Finishing Touches
I used Cosmic Shimmer Glue around the edges of the labels 47 die and then used Glitter Jewels Glacier Ice.
I cut several flowers from the Peony Die and shaped these before attaching to the card. I also added Glacier Ice to the edges of the petals and then added a small dazzler to the centres, and two hat pins.
Finally I made a triple bow and swags using Seam Binding and added a large Dazzler to the centre,
Happy Crafting

Thank you to everyone for your comments, I'm very pleased that so many of you like the cards I have posted on the blog xx
ReplyDeleteI love this card. I came across some really 'old' cards of Phill's and I had to smile, they don't look like anything Phill does now lol let's just say "your style has really come on "
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame that the blog isn't 'kept up to date' I wonder why, is it just down to time Barb ?
Carry on your amazing work Phill I adore your stamps the quality has really helped with my stamping confidence, thank you.
