September Craftathon Projects

Good Evening Everyone

Well, the weather is definitely turning colder... I don't think our heating has been off since we got back from our holiday! BUT, the plus side for us crafters is it is a good excuse to stay indoors where it's warm and craft! and that's exactly what we did at our September Craftathon today! :-)

I want to just say a special thankyou to Lorraine, Claire, Becky, Kath and Sharon who have come from all over the country to spend the day with us today....

It was lovely to meet you all and I hope you enjoyed your day... I know I did! :-)

Anyhoo, I thought I'd pop the projects we did today onto the blog, it was a bit of a Stampavie fest, but who can resist these stunning stamps (One of my weaknesses!)

Spellbinders POD Show Demo Cards

Good Morning Everyone

Firstly, a huge thankyou to everyone who bought the Spellbinders pod on Tuesday, what a massive success it was and I'm so glad you loved the dies as much as I do :-)

You'll have hours of crafty time creating with those dies!

I had a ball with Dean and Leonie... always a laugh to be found when we are on together so I hope you enjoyed the shows too!

Anyhoo, as promised, here are some photos of some of the cards I made on air, hopefully they will give you some inspiration. You'll have more time than I did on air to play around with the dies, but I hope these quick cards give you a few ideas on what you can achieve with very little effort!

Spellbinders POD World Launch Show Times...

Good Evening Everyone

I've just finished all my prep for my demos of the fabulous Spellbinders Pick of the Day shows that launch on Tuesday (tomorrow!) night at 9pm on Ideal World...

I can honestly say... out of the 21 dies there will be, I can't imagine not using any of them!

That means, as a crafter myself, that it's a great buy.... none will just sit in a folder!

I'm quite excited about this pod, not only is it a world launch, but it means I've had chance to play with them before anyone else :-) I hope you like what I do with them and my demos give you some ideas for yourself...

I have purposefully planned my demos in my own style, I'm not one for copying other peoples way of doing this so fingers crossed... you will be able to see the practicalities of my finished demos and where you can use the ideas in your own crafty lives :-)

OK, here goes.... there are 10 live hours over the two days and both Ideal World and Create and Craft so the easiest way for me to tell you is as follows... (I hope!)

Good Evening Everyone

Just a very quick post to let you know that I'm back from my hols (obviously lol) and I'm back on your Create and Craft (and Ideal World) screens next week...

With something absolutely incredible!

I'm doing a Spellbinders WORLD LAUNCH Pick of the day next Tuesday night and all throughout the day next Wednesday!

This is something very, very exciting.... I can't tell you too much, but these new dies are a world launch, not even in the states yet!

I will post the full list of show times tomorrow, but as usual the pick of the day launches on Ideal World at 9pm next Tuesday night (25th September) ....

If you love your Spellbinders, you are so going to love these new dies and the price!!!

Great British Craft Festival.....

Good Evening Everyone!

My my, I have neglected my blog over the last few weeks! But I have been sooooo busy so I hope you'll forgive me..

I'm just writing this post, whilst I'm sat with a cuppa, to just let you all know that I will be at the Great British Craft Festival at Donington Park for the whole 3 days! 

We kick off next Friday with an action packed day of workshops with myself, Anne-Marie, Debbi Moore and who knows who else will be there ;-)

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, I will be shopping (well, I WILL find some time to shop, before the doors open lol) Seriously though, I will be hosting Make and Take Sessions where you will get half an hour or so with lil ole me to make something fab that you can take with you :-)

It's going to sooooo much fun, I can't wait!

5th Birthday Party Tomorrow!! :-)

Good Afternoon Everyone

Just a quick note to remind you that our 5th Birthday Party is tomorrow!!! 

(Sunday 8th July)

We will be open for you to pop in and have a glass of wine and some nibbles to celebrate and, naturally, we have a very special 5th birthday sale on lot's and lot's and lot's of products!!

We will be open from 10:30 til 4:30 so pop along, have a drink with myself, Carol and Sue and, of course, grab the big bargains before someone else does!

Special 'one off' Box Frame Workshop....

Hi Everyone

I'm just writing to let you know that on Sunday, 15th July I am having a special one off 'Box Fame' workshop at my shop.

This will be (hopefully) a 3 hour workshop (but will probably longer! lol) where we will be painting, stamping, colouring, crackling, glazing, inking, punching and so much more to create a special box frame from scratch (apart from the frame itself, although we will be painting ad stamping it! lol)

The cost of this workshop is £20pp and this includes the box frame.

We will start at 10 and finish (maybe) at 1pm 

I have added a photo of one that I did last year to give you an idea.

I already have names on my list and I am only having a maximum of 12 people so if you want to join me, let me know quickly.

I am doing a Christmas one, but you don't have to (I just think it's a lovely gift!)

Anyhoo... let me know quickly as I don't imagine I will be long filling the spaces!

Evening Everyone

I've now had a ffew more hour added to my Hunkydory shows on Create & Craft this week... 

I also know which shows are on which channel so, here goes!

Thursday 21st -

9am (Ideal World) 1pm (Create & Craft) 5pm (Ideal World) 6pm (Create & Craft) 8pm (Ideal World) 10pm (Create & Craft) phew!

Friday 22nd -

6pm and 10pm (both on Create & Craft)

Tuesday 26th -

3pm and 7pm (not sure which channel yet!)

This is a mahoosive Blockbuster by Hunkydory and I know you are going to love it as much as I do!

Create & Craft Shows Next Week...

Good Evening Everyone

Just a quick post to let you know that I am back on Create & Craft next Thursday and Friday for Hunkydory...

I got my box of goodies from Hunkydory last week and all I can say is you are going to loooove this range!

Personally, I love all of  it!

Anyhoo, here are my show times... Thursday is going to be a long day! I'm not sure yet which ones are on Ideal World (apart from the late ones) but I will l et you know asap..

Thusrday 21st - 9am, 1pm, 5pm, 8pm and 10pm

Friday 22nd - 6pm and 10pm
