Retirement Card in Cream & Craft Card - Featuring the New Timeless Collection Stamps

Good Morning Everyone,

Today's card is created using the New Timeless Stamps, I particularly used these stamps again to show how adaptable these are for male and female cards, plus the fact these are one of my favourite collections.

This Is How I Created It

1st Layer -  Cream Card Cut to 7.75 Square
2nd Layer - Craft Card Cut to 7.5 Square
3rd Layer - Cream Card Cut to 7.25 Square

I embossed the 3rd layer using the Tartan Trellis Embossing Folder then attached all 3 layers together (flat) using Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue.

Next I cut the panel as follows:-

Craft Card cut to 7.25 x 5.75 and cut the corners using the Woodware Corner Punch, and tied the Bakers Twine around the edges.

The next layer in Cream Card cut to 7 x 5.25

I then used Gold Embossing Powder and the Corner Sentiment Stamp and heat embossed this before embossing with the Tartan Trellis Embossing Folder.

I then attached the 2 panels to card using pads to give dimension.

Sentiment

Using Cream Card and the Large Timeless Rectangle Frame Stamp and the Everyday Sentiment Tag Stamp I heat embossed these in Bright Gold Embossing Powder and then cut them out.

I shaped the 'Tag' and attached with Cosmic Shimmer Glue and the Rectangle I attached on pads.


Finishing Touches

I cut the keys out in Cream Card, then using a double sided adhesive sheet, I added the Micro Beads, then attached to the top of the tag.

Finally I added a quadruple bow made from Bakers Twine  and Decadent Oak Pearl P.V.A. to the corners.

This is now ready to attach to an 8 x 8 Card Stock.

Baroque Best Wishes - Black & Cream

Once again thank you all for taking the time to comment on my cards, Its lovely to know what you all think.

Today I decided to use stamps from one of my Favourite Collections - The Baroque Collection.

I hope you like it.

8 x 8 Cream Card Stock

Matting & Layering

1st layer Black Card cut to 7.75 sq.
2nd Layer Cream Card cut to 7.5 sq.
3rd Layer Black Card cut to 6.75 sq.
4th Layer Cream Card cut to 6.5 sq.

First I attached the 7.75 Black Card to the Base Card - flat using Cosmic Shimmer Glue
I than embossed the Cream 7.5 card and attached this (again flat)

Background

To create the background I used the cream 6.5 card and The Baroque Background Stamp. I stamped this using Black Soot Distress Ink. Once this was dry I attached it to the 6,75 black card and then added both to the main card using pads to give dimension.





Sentiment

Using a piece of cream card and Sue Wilson Herald Square Die I cut the die out and then backed it onto a  piece of black card.

I then did the PVA Pearls around the edge of this as they take a while to dry.

Next I cut a piece of cream card to 2.5 sq and stamped the Sentiment attaching this the centre with pads.
This was then added to the centre of the main card.

Once I was sure the PVA Pearls were dry I attached the sentiment to the centre of the card.



Finishing Touches

I made a triple bow and swags using Black Seam Binding and added a Dazzler to the centre.
Finally adding two Dragonflies.

Good Afternoon Everyone

I know,... I've been a terrible Blogger of late,... rest assured, my mate, Julia Watts, reprimanded me severely at Ally Pally last weekend :-)

In my defense, I have been rather busy with designing new stamps,.. and more!

I also have been working hard with Creative Expressions to bring you my own range of co-ordinating Cosmic Shimmer products to go with my Vintage Christmas Paper Pad,..

In early October, you will be able to get Ink Misters, Pearl PVA Glues, Polished Silk Glitters, Gilding Wax, Mica Powders, Twinkles (sparkly glue!) all in perfectly co-ordinating colours,..

Creative Expressions and I have worked so hard to get the colours perfect!, you know I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to matching colours and I wanted the same for all of you too, so you don't have to 'make do' and spend hours searching for products to go with everything!

These new products will (hopefully!) be launching on my 11th October shows on Create & Craft and, yes, I'm a tad excited! lol

Anyhoo, because I've been a naughty Blogger, I'm going to give you a sneaky peek photo of one of my card samples for my shows on Create and Craft next Tuesday, 30th September 8am and 3pm
