Follow Your Dreams - Showcasing The Mini Baroque Inspirational Stamps

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my previous posting.
Your feedback is very much appreciated.

Today's card is quite a simple one that can be used for any occasion.

All products used to create this card can be found on Phill's Website:-

www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk

This is what I used:-

White Card Stock
Mini Baroque Inspirational Sentiment Stamps
Decadent Damask Paper Pad
Decadent Bamboo Colour Cloud Blending Ink
Decadent Bamboo Twinkles
Silver Embossing Powder
Glamour Dust
Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Glue
Creative Expressions Pearl Strips
Spellbinder Butterfly
Sue Wilson Dies -Noble  Classic Adorned Rectangles
Sue Wilson Perfect Peony Complete Petals

This is what I did:-

Using a sheet of Plain White Card Stock and the 2 largest dies, I cut the shape of the card out.

I then covered this using Decadent Bamboo Colour Cloud Blending Ink.

Next using the 2 smallest inner rectangle dies I cut these out applied colour cloud to the edge. I then backed this on to a piece of Decadent Damask Bamboo paper from the paper pad. (using the patterned side) and attached these to the card.

Sentiment

Using the Mini Baroque Inspirational Stamps I chose
'Follow Your Dreams' as this can be used for any occasion.

Using Silver Embossing Powder I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of plain white card cut to 3 x 2
This was then attached to the card using pads to give dimension.

Finishing Touches

Using the Perfect Peony Die I cut enough out to make up one complete flower, shaped this and added to the card.

I then cut out the butterfly and attached to the card leaving the wings free to be able to shape these (as in flight).

I then added glamour dust around the outer border, butterfly and petals, then added Bamboo Twinkles to the centre of the flower.

Finally I added pearls around the edge of the sentiment.

Black & Cream - Many Happy Returns

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you all for your lovely messages and comments on my previous post, its nice to know you are enjoying the blog:-

Today's card is another small one :-

All the products used to create this are available on Phill's Website

www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk

This is what I used :-

Cream Card Stock
Black Card Stock
Baroque Frame A6 Stamp Set
Mini Baroque Everyday Sentiment Stamps
Black Soot Distress Ink
Sue Wilson Noble Dies - Ornate Pierced Rectangles
Sue Wilson Camellia Open Petals
Sue Wilson Camellia Complete Petals
Creative Expressions Cream Pearl Strips
Cosmic Shimmer Glue

This is what I did :-

First I cut the card shape using Cream Card Stock and the largest of the dies, then cut another piece out and attached to the card blank.

Using the 2nd and 3rd largest dies I cut these out using Black Card and layered it onto cream card.

I then attached this to the main card using pads to give dimension.

Using the smallest pierced die I cut out in cream card to stamp the border. For this I used the Baroque Frame Stamp and Black Soot Distress Ink.
Then attached flat to the card.

Sentiment & Flowers

I cut a piece of Cream Card to 3.25 x 2.25 and chose a stamp from the Mini Baroque Everyday Sentiment Stamp Set, and used Black Soot Distress Ink.

This was then attached to the card using pads to give dimension.

To create the flowers I cut an assortment of these both in cream and black using offcuts of card.

I then shaped and assembled them and attached to card.

Finishing Touches

Finally I added cream pearls around the outer edge of the card and also to the centre of the flowers.

Decadent Oak - Showcasing the New Mini Baroque Stamps

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you have all had a 'Good Crafty Weekend'

On with today's card which is a smaller and relatively easier one.

All the product used to create this card are available on Phill's Website:-

www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk

This is what I used:-

Cream Card Stock
Decadent Oak Colour Cloud Blending Ink
Decadent Oak P.V.A.
Decadent Oak Twinkles
Decadent Damask Premium Paper Pad
Sentimentally Yours Mini Baroque Inspirational Stamps A5
Glacier Ice Glitter Jewels
Sue Wilson Noble Dies - Classic Adorned Rectangles
Sue Wilson Perfect Peony Complete Petals
Sue Wilson Laurel Leaves

This is how I created it:-

I cut the card shape using the largest die.

Then using cream card stock and  the 2 largest dies I cut out the frame. Then edges it with Decadent Oak Colour Cloud before removing from the die.

This was then attached to the card using pads to give dimension.

Next I cut the filigree die and again edged in oak , which I then layered on to a piece of Decadent Oak ( plain side) from the paper pad, then inserted this flat inside the frame.

Sentiment

Using the largest of the two oval dies and Cream Card Stock, I cut this out and used the Mini Baroque Inspiration Stamp, and Decadent Oak Colour Cloud Blending Ink.

I then attached this to the centre of the card using pads, and added Decadent Oak P.V.A. Pearls around the edge.

 Finishing Touches

I cut several flowers out from the Peony Die and inked the petals with Decadent Oak before removing them from the dies.
I then shaped and glued together before attaching to the card.

Once attached to the card I edged the tips of the petals with Glacier Ice Glitter Jewels and added Oak Twinkles to the centres.

Finally I cut the leaves out and once again coloured these with Colour Cloud before removing from the die, then attached to the card.

Ultimate Baroque Collection - To A Special Friend

Good Morning Everyone

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous post.

As promised I am going to post smaller cards, as many of you have requested, so here we go with today's card:- A very straightforward one.

All the products used to create this card can be found on Phill's Website -
www.honeypotcrafts.co.uk

I used:-
Plain White Card Stock
Sentimentally Yours Baroque Sentiment Stamps
Decadent Colour Cloud Blending Ink - Denim
Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels
Creative Expressions Pearl Strips
Noble Dies Ornate Pierced Design
Perfect Peony Complete Petals

I cut the card shape out using the largest of the Noble Dies.

Then using plain white card I cut the 2 largest dies out and edged using Denim Colour Cloud Blending Ink, then attached flat to card using Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

Next I used the 2 middle sized dies and again cut out using plain white card, and once again edged in Denim Colour Cloud. I then attached to card using pads.

Sentiment

Using the smallest plain Die I cut this out using white card stock.

I then stamped the Sentiment using Denim Colour Cloud and again around the edges.

Then attached to the card using pads to give dimension.

Finishing Touches

Using white card stock and the Peony Dies I cut several of these out, and while they were still in the die I used Denim Colour Cloud to blend the petals and leaves.

I then shaped the flowers and attached to card using Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

I added Glitter Jewels to the edge of the main card and also to the flowers and leaves, before finally adding a small pearl to the centre of each flower.
