Loved this shape so much - I made 3!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Well, the weather we are having lately is definitely crafting weather and that's exactly what I've been doing.... when I get home from work of course, there's no time to 'play' at the shop this time of year!

This lil card is a variation of the ever popular stepper card, I love stepper cards because of their technical appearance and the versatility they give us... so much so that I made this style in three different colour ways lol

The image is a digi I bought somewhere when I was browsing the tinternet, sorry, I cannot remember where as I must have looked at a thousand sites lol

As you'd expect from me, there is lots of distressing going on, as well as a combination of Flexmarkers and Promarkers... some punched and die cut snowflakes, buttons, twines and the obligatory glamour dust!

 Hope you like them as much I liked making them :o)

Create and Craft Shows....

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Just a quick post to let you know I will be back on Create & Craft this weekend... so I won't be working at the   NEC, however, I will be at the NEC for a nosey on Saturday so if you see me, be sure to say hello :o)

My Shows are all on Create and Craft and this is the line up..

Friday (yep, tomorrow!)

8am, 10am and 4pm

Sunday

9am, 10am and 2pm

Hope you can watch, at least I'll be there to entertain those of you that are not at the NEC (or those that have been and spent up lol!)

So what do I do when I get half an hour of peace....

... I make a card! lol

Hi Everyone...

Now that's stranger than you think.... especially when I am at work in the shop (time is usually spent mashing, chatting, teaching, advising my lovely customers and oh yes, more mashing cuppas!) so to get half an hour of peace at the shop these days is so rare that you'd think I would put my feet up with, yep, another cuppa, but nope, not me... I play :o)

So here's a few photos of my lil half an hour (36 minutes of peace to be precise!) playtime card with one of my fave Gorjuss stamps...

Hopefully, you will notice the lovely Backing Paper too as it's one of my own ;o) 

More on that soon ;o)

Lil Freebie for you...

Hi Everyone

As you have probably heard me say a hundred, nay, a thousand times over the last few days lol, I am going on my holidays in a few days for a wee while so I thought I'd let you have a lil freebie background paper that I designed myself...

It's a lovely vintage coloured snowflake paper.... there'll be more soon, but I was thinking..... I could let you all have a freebie and a play whilst I am away, then you could show me what you did with it in your craft projects when I get back... sound like a plan?

I love background papers (as most of you know) and I like to create my own when I can't find the 'right' one, so here it is.... Have fun and enjoy using it...I hope I do this post right so you can click on the image, then right click on the image again once it opens in full size...(fingers crossed!)

Create & Craft Shows....

Hi  Everyone

Hope you are all well and busy crafting... I know I have been!

How are you getting on with your Christmas projects for this year? Me, well, I'm always last minute! lol

I make so many Christmas cards at my classes that I should just use those for myself, but I never do... I always like to create something new for close family and friends and this year will be no exception ;o)

Anyhoo... I have some more dates booked for Create & Craft shows and here they are... 

guess who is going to be a busy boy next week!

Monday 19th September at 1pm and 3pm on Create & Craft and then 

5-7pm on Ideal World for Craft o Clock

Thursday 22nd September at 9am and 12noon on Create & Craft

Friday 23rd September at 9am and 1pm on Create & Craft

You'll be sick of seeing me next week! lol

Forgot I had these.......

Hi Everyone....

Yesterday I found these fab Arc shaped cards at the shop, that I must have bought last year sometime! 

And I thought I'd take some home and have a play...

Thought I'd show you what I came up with....

Here is the finished card, a priddy lil Tilda card in pinks and greens.... hope you like it :o)

I've used my Longing Tilda stamp, pro-markers, Tim Holtz Core'dinations cardstock, Divine Swirls embossing folder, lil flower and leaf punches, a  Stampin up! border punch, some raffia twine and some other lil bits...

What am I up to?.....

Hi Everyone

Just thought I would pop a lil message on here to let you all know a little bit about what I am up to...

I can confirm that I will be back on your screens next Monday, 22nd, on Ideal World (not Create & Craft) for the full two hours of Craft o'clock!

I hope you can join me and drop me an email to say Hi :o)

As for who I am going to be working with/for.... well, that's a lil surprise, but I know you will put 2 and 2 together and figure it out, however, I will (on Monday or Tuesday next week) make an official announcement, just so you know what is actually happening and not what you may or may not have heard lol

Besides, I like to keep you guessing ;o) lol

I will take this opportunity too to say a huge thankyou for all your continued support and the numerous daily messages I get on Facebook, asking where I have been lol.... at least now you know I will be back :o)

Secret Project No.3 - It's a lush one ;o)

Hi Everyone

Well, as promised...here is my secret project no.3!

I so love these that I think they are now my new addiction....the possibilities are endless! (as you'll see soon lol)

So this time, I have gone with a more traditional, warm colour scheme with the rich burgundy, olive greens and smooth cream... all with a (hand painted 5 times in the end!) rich, old gold metallic frame.

The photos truly don't do this frame any justice as you can't capture the lushness of the gold and the richness of the colours!

And guess what....no Tilda this time! Instead I have used another of my faves, Gorjuss Girls... This one is the 'Toadstools' Gorjuss, from the Winter 2011 collection (all on my website!)

The frame has also (as you'd expect from me) been hand stamped and every single dot has been sprinkled with glamour dust to give it the festive sparkle ;o)

Anyhoooo, This frame is also on ebay for you to bid on, and, like last time, I will make a card for the lucky winner to go with the frame!

Well, I have had a fabulous afternoon, crafty shopping for items for my secret project no.3... 

It's a secret (lol) so I can't tell you what I bought, but all will be revealed when it's completed, I have done the ground work, so to speak, so it should be ready in a couple of weeks (you know I'm a perfectionist!)
