Been playing with my Aqua Markers...

Good Evening Everyone

So, as most of you know by now, my favouritest 'hobby' is colouring in my stamped images... 

Pro Markers are one of my favourite pens to colour in with and they seem to have 'taken over' our crafty life because they make it so easy to achieve lovely results...

So, last night I decided to use my Aqua Markers...  I love watercolouring images too, be it with my distress inks, my watercolour pencils or my Aqua Markers... and as the Aqua Markers were the last of these to be added to my ever growing collection of things to colour in with, I got them out again and do you know, I loved every minute!

It was so nice to have a change from my Pro Markers!

Anyhoo, I thought I better make a card with the lovely image I watercoloured so here it is...

PS - The background paper is from my new set which is coming sooooon :o)

Good Evening Everyone

It's Friday!!! Which actually doesn't mean I get a weekend off, but everyone is always happy at the weekends lol

Anyhoo... There are a few things I need to tell you tonight (Whilst my dinner is in the slow cooker) 

Firstly, I have added some fabulous new stepper card blanks to the website by Papermania in white and, my favourite, Kraft!

If you haven't seen these yet, treat yourself, they are superb value at £3 a pack with expandable envelopes!

They were only delivered yesterday and, naturally, I took mine first to play, I'll add a photo of my card tomorrow or Sunday night :o)

New Background Papers :o)

Good Evening Everyone...

I have been slaving over the computer the last few weeks to make sure these were ready in time for you to use them on your Valentines cards!

My new set of background papers is called Polka Hearts and Crumpled Plains!

Now, as you know, I have to have complete co-ordination, which is why I did the Crumpled Plains to match the smaller hearts from the Polka Hearts set..so I hope you like them...

They are literally, hot off the press tonight!

I have made a card with them to show you how I have used them and have popped a couple of photos on below to, hopefully, give you some inspiration :o)

Serif Pick of the Day Show Times

Good Afternoon Everyone

I have now had the show times confirmed for the Serif Pick of the Day I am doing next Tuesday over on Ideal World and Create & Craft.... there's a fair few so here goes... 

I'll list them in channel order as it's easier (for me!) to follow...

Ideal World

Tue 9pm (launch) and 11pm

Wed 8am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm

Create & Craft

Wed 12noon, 3pm and 5pm

I hope that makes sense!

As most of you will know by now, I love the Serif Craft Artist Professional Software and use it alot, not only for my digital crafting, but also for designing my own embellishments, toppers, decoupage etc etc so I really hope you can watch and I can introduce you to the wonderful world of Serif Craft Artist and show you just how we, as crafters, can get the most out of it!

Paper Flowers

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Just a quickie, sooooo many people have asked about the flowers I have used on the card below so I thought it easier to let you all know on here..

They are a box of paper flowers by woodware, all white so you can ink them, spritz them, distress them, stamp onto them and so on... They feel like thick handmade mulberry paper which, as we know, is a pain to punch through!

They also have the creases on the petals so we don't have to!

I use them all the time as it saves me getting the big shot out or lots of punches and they go a loooong way!

Good Afternoon Everyone

As promised, here is a quick card I made using my new Candy Stripes and Candy Check backing papers...

I have used the complimentary lilac tones from the papers and coloured Tilda in with my flexmarkers and promarkers to co-ordinate, finished off with some punched and die cut flowers, bit of lace, tiny punched butterflies, pearls, and, naturally, inked my edges using Colorbox Fluid chalk ink pads :o)

I hope you like it and it gives you some ideas of what to do with the papers.

Craft o'clock!!

Hi Everyone

This is a real quickie, just to let you know I am now back on Create and Craft (well, Ideal World really) sooner than planned!

I'm doing Craft o'clock next Monday 9th at 5pm til 7pm

New Year Freebie :o)

Good Afternoon (nearly evening) Everyone,

Happy New Year!! 

I hope you enjoyed your time off over Christmas and the New Year and managed to find some time to be crafty :o)

Anyway, two things I need to tell you about today..

Firstly, I will be back on Ideal World on Tuesday 17th January at 9pm for the launch of a very exciting Pick of the day from Serif!

I will give you the times of all the shows, as soon as I know, but I do know we launch at 9pm lol

I am very excited about this pod as the Serif software is somewhat of a favourite of mine, and they are local to me (just down the road! lol)

More details to follow.... ;o)

Secondly,, I have just finished getting the colours perfect on my second set of Designed By Phill Backing Papers - whoo hoo!

This new collection is a duo set of Candy Pinstripes and Candy Checks, all complimentary colours (as you would expect from me) and all very perfect, pretty and more importantly useful!
